This plugin provides a way to add and navigate bookmarks across all jEdit buffers and unopened files. Bookmarks are used to associate a given location in a file with a shortcut key. This allows the user to easily navigate from a location in a file to a different bookmarked location in either the same file or another file via a shortcut key.
Bookmarks are similar jEdit Markers with a few important differences. The main difference between Bookmarks and Markers, and the reason this plugin was written is that Bookmarks work globally. This means you can use the a shortcut to take you to a bookmark of a file, even if that file is not the current buffer, or even if that file is not currently open in jEdit.
