The XilizePlugin translates Xilize markup, a superset of Textile, for creation of rich XHTML pages making jEdit an efficient and very simple web content generation engine. The markup allows you to write sophisticated content in a natural way, and transformation can be done at four levels of granularity: text selection, buffer, directory, or directory tree. Xilize can automatically generate XHTML doctype declarations, the "head" element and its content, has provision for include files, conditional includes, defines, and can read Java property files. |
